Painter, designer and fiber artist. No matter what the label, my work is always recognized by my signature bold patterns and color use. Each painting is unique to the particular garment being created. My award winning designs have been exhibited worldwide and featured in various international publications.

All of my designs begin with white silk (my “canvas”) stretched onto a wooden frame.  Fiber-reactive dyes are painted onto the fabric (using a layering technique), beginning with the lightest shades and ending with the darkest.  With each brush stroke of color, the painting I’ve envisioned gradually comes to life.  The dyes are steam set for permanence and the fabric is washed before finally being sewn into a unique piece of art to wear; comfortable enough to be worn, yet beautiful enough to be displayed in the home.
